Persephone's Garden
| Time is our most precious commodity and we need to discover how best to utilize the little free time that we have! Persephone's Garden is an all-weather destination for visitors enjoying the villages of the Goldfields, day-trippers escaping for a few hours from the city or locals who just want a relaxing hour or two, away from the house.
As a specialty bookshop we carry an extensive range of gardening, home improvement and horticulture books, as well as a range of books on outdoor activities, hobby farming, natural history, children's books, artwork by Norman Lindsay and a growing Australiana section. During the colder weather you can sit by the wood fire and have piping hot coffee and cake in our cafe, and if the the weather is hot, then sit out in the garden room. Alternatively you can relax in the lounge area and browse through our titles, read a magazine of even your own book. Choose a gift from our selective range or select a plant from our garden. We want you to relax and take time out in your hectic schedule to savour the moment and "smell the roses".
